Carol Pouliot
I have always had a passion for books and education. I can vividly recall the library my family frequented during my childhood. The thrill I felt while selecting books remains fresh in my memory.
Presently, the bookshelves that adorn the walls of my home are overflowing with a diverse collection of mysteries, political thrillers, time-travel narratives, ancient Egyptian tales, French literature, biographies of British monarchs, and cherished titles from my youth. It seems only natural that I would aspire to write.
At the age of 11, I developed a deep affection for France and all things French, dreaming of obtaining my passport, packing my suitcase, and traveling to Paris. After earning a BA in French and Spanish from SUNY Oswego and an MA in French from Stony Brook University, I embarked on my first teaching position in Marseille, France.
Upon returning to Upstate New York, I dedicated over 30 years to teaching French and Spanish. Additionally, I established my own business—an agency that offered translation services in more than 24 languages.
